*disclaimer* admin this is not an advert!!

I'm an ebay selling virgin  but I have a PE trio that I think is more likely to sell on ebay than via free ad papers/websites etc but I have no idea where to start, what the best way to collect ££ if it sells, do you get stung with seller fees?

I don't what what I'm doing...please help ebay idiot!!

Yes you have to pay fees for selling but it's not that dear. Take payment by PayPal or cash on collection.

Lots of people like the PE Trios so I think if you advertised it in a local tackshop you'd get a sale.

I do a fair bit of ebay. They take 10% of your final selling fee. (or is it 15, can't remember atm)
What size is your rug? They're fairly popular rugs so if I were you I'd stick an advert in tack shops (Cow mills, pointings etc) and also in free adds online.
If it doesn't sell then stick it on ebay, nearer to winter when you're likely to get a better price because generally people won't start looking for thicker rugs until then.

I also sell on ebay and they do take fees.

Its a 6'3 so I think it should be fairly easy to shift...popular size.

Thats a good point about ebay at a later date...I will go take some pics later and write a few ads for the tack shops

bettyboo222, iI've had it 6 months most of which it has spent stored in my shed! He wore it for probably a month, though not continuously...just for turnout. All the liners have been washed but I haven't bothered having the outer rug washed and reproofed as its so new (seemed like a waste of ££)

I'm just so gutted, I saved for ages for that damn rug and it just doesn't sit right on him...maybe I should sell the horse instead!!

Damm to big for mine, Before you put it on ebay why not try it on swap shop for a few days put a price on it ( shameless advertising;))

Haha...beat you to it :D:D the swap shop is the first place I put it!! Excellent idea by the way, since putting it on there I've thought I really should look to shift it properly otherwise it'll just end up sitting in my shed!
