Rug size for 11hh pony

What size are peoples (small) 11hh ponies in? Thinking ahead to horse fly season and our yard is awful for them.
I had an 11.2 who was in a 4’6 but he was quite a chunky chap.

Meg is teeny. Shes not quite ready to be measured yet, so I can’t measure her up for one.

I’m thinking 4’ or 4’3?

I definitely can’t see her being bigger than OB (my old pony) was, so maybe I should try 4’6?

We have one 11.2 who is in a 5ft but she is a little long backed

Probably not helpful but my 11 hand donkey is in a 5ft.

I think you'll just have to measure or try.
I've had 11.hh's in anything from 4ft to 5ft, (lighter shapes in the smaller sizes, tho often a 4ft 6 with extra dart made on the neck each side) then also different makes of rugs fit different shapes as you'll be aware anyway x

My 11.1 (overweight despite every effort) welsh sec a is in a 5ft rug. Not that he's allowed to wear them anymore! clipped him last winter and banned the rugs but...nope, still fat

I’ve ordered her a little 4’3 waffle cooler as a tester. I can always sell it on if it doesn’t fit.
