I was looking to get a 100g turnout rug for my girl and like the fit of the MW Rhino rug she has (200g). However they only do a no-fill version of it, nothing inbetween.

Do you think that combining one of the Rambo Duo liners with a rain sheet would work?! They do the liner in a 100g version.

What's the thoughts, am I being too simplistic?! Way I see it is it's £25 for the liner and I already have a Rhino no fill rain sheet, which is way more cost effective than £120 for the only rug that Horseware seem to do in 100g- the Rambo California!

Thanks!

I use an under rug with a rain sheet for a lightweight rug and it works fine.

The only thing I would say is I think the rambo liners only have a front strap and no surcingle because they attached to the top rug by some means might be better going for a cheapy stable rug with all the straps.

#ahhhhh but as well as the very strong velcro chest part they also attach to the rings that the leg straps attach to..... so shouldnt in theory be able to slip!!!

I have bought an Amigo summer turnout and thought that I might be able to do the same thing!!!

It'd be very easy to get rings put on the LW to fit the Liner. The Duo liners attach by two loops of velcro at the shoulders and clip to the fillet string at the back
