Rugging at Night

We have a new underweight 4yr TB. Previously always had Cobs. What’s people’s advice on rugging at night. It’s average 8-12 degress here at night. Struggling with weight gain at the mo Seems a little chilli! Do I rug or not rug? Thanks

An underweight Tb would be rugged (lightly) if it were mine, but not until late in the evening when weather is warm & sunny

Thanks. That’s been the dilemma last week or so with the warm early evenings, do I leave her or go down late and pop her rug on. I don’t think the being rug free for the week or so has done her weight anygood. She’s having a few nights in until it warms up again!
