Sorry know how everyone loves these threads, my fully clipped tb (poor dooer, feel the cold type) is being rubbed by every rug that goes underneath, any recommendations for a nice under rug? Needs to be thin as a base layer.

The snuggy hood petticoat rugs are good, they wash well and dry fast too, they are easy and quick to put on and they stay put too

I quite like the Weatherbeeta fleeces too, they have a generous non rub section at the front

I've got a huge withered, fully clipped TB who rubs very easily,I always use a Bossy's bib, have also got a 'comfy cape' which is as good as a bossy & cheaper. He wears one 24/7 & I change it every couple of days to wash as they get greasy very easily.

bossy bib and Premier Equine rug are the only thing that seemmed to work with my high withered TB and large shouldered pony.

I have an aged withery gelding (he's now 32) who I used to really struggle with. The only thing I've found that works to stop rubbing him is a really well fitting fal rug.
