Ruggles rugs - reviews and which size?

I'm looking to get a no-fill turnout for my lad but need 1200D fabric as a couple of his field-mates are rather rough and have ripped a few of my rugs in the past. I've seen a few people on here recommend the Ruggles rugs and they're a great price, but I'm a bit wary as I've never seen them before. How do they compare to weatherbeeta and Amigo which are the brands I was looking at? Is it worth paying the extra for the teflon coated one? Also, which size would you recommend as boyo is 5'9 in premier equine and shires but 6' in Amigo so wasn't sure?
 
My Ruggles rug is still going strong 3 years on. I love it. Bud's in a 6'9 in Shires, Masta and Best on Horse. And His Ruggles one is 6'9 and if anything is a bit long on him and I could of got away with a 6'6, so I'd probably go with the 5'9!
 
just bought 2 x LW teflon coated.
cant comment durability but fit is FAB and they come up only a tiny bit longer than Amigo-ours were both 6'3 in Amigo and would no way fit in a 6 Ruggles so go for same size as Amigo.

Really helpful people, went and searched high and low and found me the last XL fly neck cover too.
 
I have an Amigo 1200 lite, a Weatherbeeta AND a ruggles. All excellent quality. I would always go for ruggles from now on due to price and wish I'd chanced it sooner. Was slightly wary due to them not being well known!
 
I've had Ruggles on my aged Shetlands for six years now and none of them are damaged. The outers are really tough and it would take a lot to damage one. I might add there isn't any barbed wire anywhere to rip them. I measured them at 4'3" from centre of chest to tail and 4'3" fits them both perfectly.
 
I recently bought my lad the Teflon coated LW 1200D and neck cover. Its 6ft6" which fits him brilliantly, hes a mw build TB. I would recommend!
