all my neds have Rambo and or Amigo rugs. I've just seen some for sale called ORICAN made byweatherbeater. I'm looking for a heavy wt turnout I'm wondering if anyone has an Orican rug and can tell if they are good,easy to fit,long lasting etc.

I have one, and it's fab. Mine is heavyweight and has a full neck, the fit is wonderful on my cob, I didn't think I'd ever find a rug better than Rambo or Rhino, but the Orican is. No rubs due to the cupped shoulder, and a decent length of neck. The only complaint I have is the front fixings, I found they broke quickly, I think I'd rather go back to old fashioned buckles!
 
i've just bought my youngster 1, so all i can go on is how it looks.
it's a nice fit even tho she's quite narrow chested (she's 15 months old) looks very warm, and smart. so i'm very pleased with it.
 
I've got one and it's been great. The material is very strong, although I wasn't able to leave it on at night time in the stable as it wasn't that breathable.
 
I've got a mix of rugs for my three, and they live out 24/7 all year so are a good test.
The Rambos are good quality and last a long time (I still have an 'antique' green one from 14 yrs ago), but can blow over the horses' heads due to lack of leg straps, and I have bought one or two which just wouldn't sit straight (even on a sound horse).
The Weatherbeetas fit well, and do a good job, and I particularly like the large tail flap to keep the wind out from their bums

) . They don't last nearly as long, in my experience, as the Rambos, although they do have leg straps so are a safer bet. After two to three years, the fabric is more worn than a Rambo, the filling flattens more, and they don't keep water out as effectively.

I swear by weatherbeeta rugs, wont use anything else. The fit is always fantastic, outside is strong but flexible, inside is soft and smooth and keeps the coat looking very nice. Would highly recommend any of their rugs.
