rugs - are you?

is anyone rugging at the mo?
supposed to be 9 here tonight with wind and a bit of rain - is it lw rug weather?

LOL, mine have been in MW's since Friday - we've had horrible rainy weather with 50 mph winds - nice for July

Mines in a fly rug and if its due to rain like more than spitty light showers then she gets her lightweight cuz theres nowhere to shelter in her paddock. Most of the other horses are out naked so I think im being good to her hehe.

It's so very warm and although we are having heavy rain at times, they haven't started melting yet - wish they would really, get some of the extra weight off!!

I never know what to put on mine! Last week she had on a middleweight as it was so horrible. Tonight she has a lightweight turnout as it's really muggy but it get's so cold so quickly! I literally have a handful of days in the summer when she goes out naked.

mine has a lightweight on tonight. looks a bit like it might rain. He was in last night, as had a show today and enjoys to role. Im a bit soft though

Defo mines been rugged at night all summer found a bucas power cooler which acts as a lovely layer and either lw turnout on in day or 100g if rainy /windy -he shows though and my last show is the end sept so am trying to convince him its summer and still hot before he decides to get woolly!

No, they have plenty of covering and they are in a sheltered field. Several owners at the yard have rugged tonight though.

all ours are out naked but even though it's raining it's still almost 20 degrees

Our horses have mw rugs on tonight because there is a chill in the air and it keeps raining on and off...it's like a nice night in January

I tried to stick to just a fleece for my TB - stable walked this morning and her MW on the floor (she always pulls off the rug she wants when she's cold, as if she's trying to put it on!). So tonight, MW it is. Pony doesn't get rugs in the summer - but then she hardly ever gets cold!

Mine have lightweight rugs on cos of the wind and rain or fly rugs cos of the damn horse flies!!!
