Rugs for a rug destroyer!!

Put anything on him and smother it with the spray on liquid Cribox. Once they are use to not chewing they usually stop.

Many horses will pull rugs off because they are to hot so be careful you are not over rugging him.

try smearing washing up liquid over it. Won't be so unpleasant for you when you get that in your mouth! Prob with cribbox is you will forget, it will end up where it shouldn't !

my old boy would trash whatever rug we put him in, master, rambo newzealands even got torn to pieces i found the best thing to do was just buy cheap as it was costing almost as much to get fixed all the time. I found ebay do some great deals for rugs i never usually pay more than £45 for full kneck rug i didn find tho that if you buy during some can pick up the best bargains so planning ahead is always good., my boys 25 and still thinks he should have a new wardrobe going into every winter every year :)

depends what he's doing to them!
we had (well still have) one who tore rugs on just about anything, particularly if left on his own. he's got much better, but the only thing that has stood up to him is the rambo supreme. it's now 6 years old and still looks great with no patches! :)

Thanks for your responses. He just seems to manage to tear them to shreds! Getting caught on things and playing with his pals - I did wonder if the much higher denier (such as PE) worked or if I should just accept that he's going to trash them and buy cheap ones...
