Hi

Been a while since on here but looking for recommendations of stable and turnout rugs for horse that is ID x - he is big built so I'm afraid that combo rugs may be tight on his neck. They also need to be deep so no amigos as thay are mini skirts!

Anyone got ideas as Im loathed to buy and find he is getting strangled!

Also dont like to spend more than £100 on turnout rugs.
any thoughs appreciated

xx

Weatherbeeta Oricans fit my cob very nicely and he has enormous shoulders and a massive neck. Mark Todds are also very good but I don't know how it would fit a bigger horse. I have one for my tbxwelsh and it is the opposite of a mini skirt! Great quality too. Masta's also come up very big around the shoulders.

equestrian clearance have a "big boy/big girl section" - & often have fab bargians - I have just got a great 7'6 MW turnout from pinkequine reduced to 25 quid - happy days

my old fashioned warmblood has a "massive front" according to trainer and a deep neck.

horseware is useless on him. weatherbeeta is ok without a neck cover - but the neck covers are not deep enough for him. Fal is a great fit without a neck and OK with a neck cover.

The only brand that really fits well if you include a neck cover, is Mark Todd including the Coolex range.
