Hi

I hope someone can help. I am on the hunt for a heavyweight combo that is under £100

The problem: I have a V.leggy large horse he is not hugely wide just leggy so all his rugs look like miniskirts.

Does anyone know of a rug company that are generous with the length of their rugs?

Thanks

Rachel

Premier Equine, their rugs come down to my horse's knees. you also may need to go down a size as they are very generous.

I have a very leggy 16.1 currently in PE rugs.
The Trio is a 5ft 9 & fits beautifully, today he's in a 6ft Buster 200 with detachable hood & this also fits exactly the same as the Trio - spot on & its good & deep on him :)
I also have the full neck Stormbuster 450 - this in a 5ft 9 also fits spot on :) (tho he's got a good coat & doesn't need it as was from last horse (a 15hh!) but I have tried it for size to check in case its needed:) )

I realise I forgot to say his sizes he is 17.3hh and 7-7ft3 long :s

I like the look of PE and am very tempted as they have a fantastic sale on at the moment!

Another vote for PE Rugs, my 17.2 IDxTB is long legged and most rugs are like miniskirts on him, but PE rugs are brilliant and with the size you need you will get a nice rug for under £100 in their sale.....

My mare is all leg. Her PE fits great. They definitely come up on the large size. Her PE is 6'3 and bigger on her than my 6'6 weatherbeeta.

i have had the same problem with my 17hh warblood mare. shes in a 7'3 derby house but its like a mini skirt! have found the weatherbeeta orican in a 7' fits perfect and tummy totally covered :) x
