What are peoples opinions on the horsewalker rugs?

This will be the first winter I have access to a walker and my boy will be using it as if I put him on there for 20 mins it cuts down my warm up time and therefore my time in the saddle.
He feels the cold though and I wouldn't want him getting chilly whilst on there as it would defeat the point

Horsewalker rugs are excellant, i thought they were a waste of money so just put my horses on with normal stable rugs on, bad move, ended up with horrible rug rubs. I brought Rambo Waterproof horsewalker rugs, this way if it rains whilst on there they dont get cold & wet.

Quarter sheet.

I wish I thought up these things!

Yep the Rambo ones are spot on, they're cut high over the shoulder so they don't rub. In saying that most of the ones my YO uses are quarter sheets with breast plates on them - think he got a saddler to do them and they're fab - it's like a rug strap round the front and he puts sheepskin round them so they don't rub.

Thanks guys,

Looks like the Rambo one gets the thumbs up then.

A lot less fuss then messing around with quarter sheets!
