rugs....would you rather

They where a smidge to small or bigs (3inchs either way) if u had to borrow one as an emergency.....

Big. Small rugs rub more and constrict. One of ours arrived with full tack and rugs none of which fitted. Rugs too small and horse snapped when u did fronts up. Decent size rug and this stopped.

I'd rather a bit to big then it completly covers the bum! hate seeing horses with rugs that are half way up their backs

too big rug=whole thing moves back,hangs off the horses arse and pulls tight behind the whithers.

.i think i would choose smaller and put the breast straps on the largest hole.

I too would go a size too big. If it is only 1 size bigger than you would normally use, you should be able to get it to fit well enough in an emergency!
