Can anyone recommend me a medium/heavy weight turnout rug with a neck?

Any good, long lasting, quality makes etc?!

Preferably not too expensive

Merry Christmas everyone!!

I had the JHL Med for my old horse and it was great. She used it for 2 winters with me and then it went with her. I had a light weight too and the only issue was that one of the front clips popped off, but OH popped it back on.
They were a really good fit for my ISH

For the Price of the Premier Equine rugs you could have a HW Amigo Plus from Cybercheckout.

I have 12 Amigo rugs of varying weights for my 2 horses. One is narrow the other wide and they fit both of them.

I'd go with Amigo every time. I did have a MArk Todd but found it narrow even though it appeared to have an adjustable front even on the widest setting it was narrow.

Mark Todd ones are brilliant, I would definitely recommend them. Quite expensive though... the new Shires HW Combo is nice too and not too expensive - my friend has just bought one for her horse and it's really nice.

Weatherbeata are also good and have been widely recommended on this forum. I have got night rugs made by Weatherbeta and they are now doing their 10th season and get washed regularly.
