I have a fully clipped sec a at night he has on a cotten sheet and a lightweight stable rug, if hes in during the day he just has the cotten sheet and if turned out during the day a lightweight turnout rug. Hes in an outside stable.
Mine is fully clipped and she is in a full neck lightweight (50g) rug during the day and a full neck medium weight (220g) at night and she seems fine with that.
Mine is fully clipped and in a 70g premier equine combo turnout in the day and a lightweight amigo stable rug overnight and is plenty warm enough, if we get the cold weather we are forecast over the next couple of weeks i may have to reconsider.
Clipped madam with fine blades on Tues. She is in a mw-hw turnout (300g) with a lwt neck on, and a very lightweight rainsheet over the top just to cover her bottom! She is out still at the moment, though if it looks like it will be wet, she comes in as I don't like hee being out overnight when it's raining with her clipped head/legs, as she won't relax or lie down!!
fully clipped (not legs or head) out 24/7 and wearing a rainsheet (no fill) day and night. might have to put a lightweight on over the weekend if it's as cold as forecast. he's quite a hot pony though, our other fully clipped cob was not as warm as mine when we brought them in this morning for a ride.
Wow some of you dont put much on do you! Badgers got his lightweight Amigo on all the time with a MW turnout on in the day and MW rug on at night!! Its pretty cold this week though I reckon.. only been 6/7 degrees when Ive been at the yard on an evening.
Mine is fully clipped (not legs and half head) he has a light combo during the day (trying to loose weight, if he was a good weight then a mw combo). At night a light fleece lined stable probs between a light and a medium. Will be getting out mw if drops below 6 at night.
medium weight combo during the day, same at night as I am too lazy to change it. Must be about 220g or so. He'd be freezing in just a light weight at the moment. He is a big pansy and feels the cold!
