Does anybodies horse live out all year round without them? Those with horses that winter out, and do where rugs, when do you put them on and what weight/how many do you end up with?

Yes plenty of horses live out all year with no rugs.
The ones who do rug don't have set dates for putting rugs on it depends on the horse the area of country and the weather conditions. That also affects the weight of rugs put on.
