oh well, like it makes any difference to me anyway!

Well I'm with you on that one!
They had to leave Gatcombe and apparently couldn't find anything over here immediately. They've gone to Germany for, they say, 4-5 months but will be back......
Nah, Balloo was on sale for ages, glad hes found a nice place. So where has Classy Touch gone to? And theres a rumour among locals the Hoys bought a property in Mt Nathan, i.e. Queensland around mid-November last year.
he belongs to a friend of mine lec and he hurt himself during that fall he is back in work but will not be going to germany. if he looks like he will come right a rider will be found who is more local. the Hoys are taking Peaceful Consort though.
do u think the hoys are scaling down somewhat anyway. i have had that feeling for the last few years. they have not really broughtt any youngsters through

dont worry about it, there is only one head girl movement worth talking about and that is karen's as already mentioned above.

Not quite, i'm still curious to know where Alex, JP's second in command at WFPs has gone, as only a few months ago everything was fine, there were plans for next [ie this] season, and she was more or less waiting for JP to retire (obviously not gonna happen for a very long time).. I guess being from a rather smarter backround than most grooms, she has given up being one??

TBH I think Groom 42 was just having a bit of lighthearted banter
- I'm sure you will find she was referring to her own (not 4*) horses and that she ends up doing the grooming for her daughter?!
Don't worry G42 - I got it!

Couldn't agree with you more MM... think Luc & Cal were actually a tad rude with their post...
Imagine if it had actually been someone with 4* horses and a groom...
Anyway, completely agree, lighthearted banter that a couple of people took too seriously.

But these gossip/rumour posts are deadly serious TalaveraII, and Groom 42 should know that if she can't stand the heat she should stay out of the kitchen.
Tell her I said so and to pm/email me if she has an issue with me saying that.
That isn't insane money, compared to horses that have changed hands in the past - I know at least one horse with only completions at 4* that went for more.
I think it's insane money but then I don't have it.
gosh there was one in h&h a few years back that went for about 500k I think it was, a beautiful young stallion - I am going to scour BE records to find it...
Internet went to a bit of an amateur iirc. fantastic little horse.
must admit, if i had £300k ish i'd rather buy a horse that had previously been ridden by WFP than by AN, i'm with wizoz on that one! it's a lot of money for a horse with alleged soundness issues though, and i doubt he's just anyone's ride tbh.
oh well, if anyone knows of any other 4* horses languishing in fields because their owners just can't find someone to ride them, please give them my name!
(well, it's worth a try!)
i loved Peaceful Warrior, he looked cracking till Bettina managed to wrestle him to the ground at Burghley, poor lad! *runs away very fast*
