rumour has it, eventing peeps, that Tom Cruise has gone to yet another jockey as Daisy Dick couldnt guarantee to ride him at badminton as she has another two already entered. Rumour also has it that oli townend has it in the yard already as Topping will not run and he is prepared to take it on with less than a month to go.
Much more intriging is that rumour also has it that Mr Pracatan is no longer at Team Hoy as owner cannot afford to run him from there. Wonder where that will end up.
Dont say you dont hear it here first!!

definatly! If they can't afford to keep it with the Hoys, i'm guessing the owners wont be able to afford to keep it with any of the top riders although I have NO idea what they charge but I presume they are all charging a fair bit!
hmm interesting about tom cruise too!
 
a enormous bit i believe actually but to be fair you get what you pay for, results, top riders, good chance of being on teams and possible the best head girl in the country ( except for jackie!!).
bet you oli will jump the creature round tho but getting it through the trot up sunday will be the real trick!!

Does Ollie really need any more horses? theres bearly enough hours in the day for him NOW!
I was impressed, out of 10 horses he rode at Belton last weekend he was placed on 9 of them.
 
Owners basically pay "livery", for the rider to keep and ride the horse, then pay all running and entry costs. Expensive business......
 
I like Andrew Hoy, and Mr Pracatan's one of my favourites. He's so loyal. Hence I am gutted that he isn't with Andrew anymore. I know he's one of his favourite horses.
 
I hear also (via v good friends of the owners) that its absolutely nothing to do with cost, as in they're incredibly wealthy and have other horses with other people, have spent about £150k on dressage horses etc but is an easy explanation. Also Mr Practatan didn't come home for a holiday this winter which apparently is quite unsual.

lol, i'll have to ask him!! After a v rude comment on thurs (how many people can be 5 strides out from a fence and still turn back and make a rude comment!) i think i can justify questions like that!!
 
was walking course on thursday when he came galloping down to a fence and 5 strides out turned back and made a v rude comment - men!!!
