Hi, I rung my vet on Monday to say I was running low on Pergolide and could they send me some more, I was told someone would have to ring me (the next day) as they were now using the new horse drug as opposed to Pergolide, I didn't hear from anyone the next day and it appears no one can get in because of the snow. Anyway, I am now down to 4 tablets, she usually has 2 a day but I have made the decision to give one a day which will take me up to Monday by which time hopefully they can send me more but that will still mean maybe a day or two without her having any. Is it ok to do this or should I keep with the 2 a day which would then mean more days with no tablets at all?

Sorry, this probably doesn't make lots of sense!

Yes it makes sense, go with the lower dose until you can re stock, vet advised me this when chemist ran out, better lower dose than no dose.

Thanks for your replies - I'll stick with the one a day and fingers crossed get some early part of next week.

MurphysMinder, the problem is there is no one in at the vets to speak to which is really annoying - I left a message on their answerphone today to say I was getting a bit desparate now and please could someone contact me or at least send me a prescription so I can get some more tablets - aaagggghh this blimmin snow disrupts everything!!!!
