I was not looking forward to our ride at all today as she has been a pain on the ground lately too but I was presently surprised! She was as good as gold, I was able to relax and enjoy the ride again! We rode the way we used to go before trying to go past the golf course and down a different bridle path and she was so much happier! I think she just doesn't like the new way we were going...? Now the question is, should I avoid the way she doesn't like or carry on to get her over it???
Unfortunately we did have a bad experience once we were back! I turned her out and she decided the best spot to roll in was right in the corner of her field and rolled into her barbed wire fence! She was tangled and squealing for a few seconds but then managed to jump up and break out! There was a lot of damage to the fence but luckily my girl came out with only one little scratch!! I will be double checking later when she comes in but I think she is absolutely fine! Wasn't even shook up about it! My tough chick!
