Runny nose

My 8 year old comes in from the field sometimes with a runny nose. Tonight it was white and runny from both nostrils. He's well in himself. Could it be an allergy or nothing to worry about?

Not a lot of fluid just a little bit.

White snot is usually nothing to worry about, caused by something like pollen or dust up the nose. An infection would give green discharge from the nose.
