My 15 year old gelding has been with me for only 3 months. He had previously been in old home for 11 years.
He has loose droppings, sometimes black and sticky. I tried him with pink powder and seemed a bit better but last seven days he has got worse again.
I put him on haylage balancer and diareez and he seems worse. He was vet checked, stool sample, bloods only 3 weeks ago and the only thing was slight anaemia.
Has anyone else found loose stools got worse on either diareez or haylage balancer? I am thinking of trying him on hay and stopping haylage. He gets a couple of scoops of Pegasus mix morning and evening.
Any advice to dry and firm up his pooh would be greatly received, recently wormed. I am trying not to worry but he is quite messy in his rear and I would love to improve it.
