I've just received my RVC statement, i always seem to owe that place money!!

That aside they are also doing annual health checks, there are 4 levels to choose from:-

Bronze £59 - includes vaccs (Flu / Tet), dental, health check (eyes, heart, lungs, walk and trot up).

Silver £66 - as bronze but with worm egg count.

Gold £99 - as silver but with blood test (haematology and major organs)

Platinum £145 - as gold but with year worming pack.

The above does not include sedation for dental work or visit fee. Also cannot be used as a pre purchase examination as no certificate is issued.

Although the visit fee is not included which i think it is currently £37.50 during normal hours, do you think the above is still reasonable?

I do, given i pay about £70.00 for teeth, jabs about the same, never get done at the same time so that's two call out charges. Worming say £50 per year...that lot alone is £265.00.

Only downside is you got to delay either teeth or jabs to make them coincide together (if they don't get done together already...i'm not that well organised!)

I think it seems pretty reasonable, as you said, if you add it all up separately its at least as expensive if not more than those prices.
I have an equine dentist do my horses teeth though.

Yes, I got a letter about that today too! I thought it looked very good value for money. When you add everything up individually, I'm sure you would find it comes to considerably more... particularly as wormers alone are about £14 each so thats nearly £60 gone on wormers alone... I'm sure teeth worked out about £50 when I had Gonz look at them in the summer... and I've just had my bill for jabs and that was £65 inc VAT and visit charge...
