Ryder Saddles

I don’t know her, but a friend has one of their saddles, and it’s lovely. I wanted to get my daughter one, but we’re slightly out of our budget. Well worth it, imho, if you can stretch to it.

I dont know her either but have had a Ryder saddle many years ago. It was gorgeous, so comfy and excellent quality. A Master Saddler who doesnt often take part exchanges took it a few years later, he said it was very well made. I fancied another a couple of years ago but was ouch at the prices, they have certainly gone up!!

I have one and love it, I've had it for just over 2 years now. Jane came all the way to Swansea from Hampshire to measure my horse and was very thorough and the saddle fitted with no adjustments when it was finished. It took around 14 weeks to be made - I was very impatient so opted to drive up to the factory on a Saturday to pick the saddle up. The owner was lovely, made us a cup of tea, and showed us around and explained how they make the saddles.
The only downside is that they do not really have a resale value due to not being a fashionable name but if you're planning to keep the saddle long-term that shouldn't be an issue.

I have the Ryder Molineaux and ADORE it. It really was love at first sit! Only downside for me was the flock was so soft it has needed quite a few re-fits, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
