Have just seen that the PN and OPN at S of E have been balloted, (274 entries for the PN), the bdwp site says to check the ballot list but there is nothing listed, does anyone know how long it usually takes for the names to appear?

I used my April ballot sticker for the PN so i've got my fingers crossed, it will be my first event of the season (hopefully!).

Sh*t!! I didnt use a sticker as I used my sticker for Hambledon!!!

Oh cr*p! Hope Spider has got in need it for my 1st PN!!!!

As you had a sticker I would have thought you would be ok.

I def wont though with two with no sticker on either!! Damn Damn!! Looks like Hambledon will be Spiders 1st PN!

oh well!!!

Cool - as I would def choose to take Spider and not Mac.

Him not being mine and probably not going to do a full season! She needs SOE as her 1st PN.

Have just emailed saying if it helps im about Sunday to fence judge/help so we will see!!!! It might help thought it was worth a try anyway!!

We put our April ballot sticker on too but Mum spoke to a person who's "in the know" yesterday and apparently loads of people used super ballot stickers

so we'll have to wait and see

Ballot date was Saturday wasn't it? So would've thought that a ballot list would by up by now, and any more entries received - probably in the PN, would be balloted which is why there's nothing on the list - nothing received since Saturday???

Yes but if there is nothing to ballot then there wouldnt be a ballot list. It says on the SOE site that they will be balloting in the OPN and PN.

Does annoy me cant they just take entried up until when they are full - why take too many then ballot - cant understand that

What a bummer for you. I know you got balloted from Munstead too, so I wondered if you'd be interested in the hunter trials they're running? Have a look at the bdwp page for Munstead, the details are on there, they're on the 1st and 22nd of April. The PN would be a suitable 1st-timers... and at least you know they've done it then.

I managed to get in!

Shame you got balloted, I have heard that it is a nice 1st PN course for both horses and riders. I'm hoping anyway!

I suppose there is always the second one nearer the end of the season, to look on the bright side you will have had a few runs by then and will be able to give it a good shot.

Doesn't make up for the disappointment though.

Well I am entered for Hambledon PN so I think that will be their 1st PN - not ideal but im sure they will be ok.

Have also entered Munsteads HT this Sunday and will be doing the PN course there.

And I have a riding club HT next sat just need to find something to do SOE weekend so I dont sit at home moping!!
