Sabre Cordobra Elegance

Does anyone have one of these bridles? are they good value for money and more importantly does anyone have a picture of their horse wearing one?

I really like the idea of the noseband doing up on both sides and theyre an awful lot less money than an Albion.
 
I don't have that bridle but I do have the Dortmund and my friend has the original cordoba. I am a huge fan of sabre it's very good quality and lasts for ever. Friend had a bridle that must be about. 20+ years and is still in working condition.
Albion wise they last aswell but haves groomed for friend who has had sabre and Albion the sabre always topped the 2. It always cleaned up better and kept its shape.
All my leather apart for saddle is sabre :)
 
Yes I have one and I love it, I have both cordobas but the elegance looks nicer on my PBA's fine head. They are expensive though, I don't know how to put pics on here so il try put one on my photo bucket and upload a link

Fingers crossed the link works, as i really would like to see how they look on, the pictures on Sabres' website aren't brilliant.

Lovely horse JennyConnor - that bridle looks really nice, and the noseband is a nice thickness, i don't like these really fat nosebands that seem to be all the rage at the moment, i think they would completely over dominate my girls face.

Yes I've got an elegance one (and the normal one too as went to get a flash for the elegance only to find that the normal bridle was half price so worked out only around £15 more to get a whole bridle than just a noseband:o )

They are lovely bridles and definitely don't regret getting either of them. My boy has a fairly fine TB type head and both suit but I think the Elegance looks the nicer of the two on him.

I've had good experiences with Sabre and they were happy to change parts of the bridle to get a good fit at no extra cost so just had to pay the postage to swap parts over as I didn't guess quite right the first time :)
 
they are gorgeous bridles and Sabre is a great company to deal with, they bend over backwards to help you. I wasnt sure which to go for so they sent me the standard cordoba and the elegance , made up with a mix of sizes as my horse isnt an off the peg shape. I went for the standard in the end, the elegance is lovely and i liked the nose band but found the cheeks etc were a bit narrow looking. Its great quality :D
 
Thank you very much - i really do like the look of the elegance, the crown/headpiece looks finer which i think will suit my girl better, but really nice to know that they will send out both bridles for you to look at.

Neverseensanta - is that the chain link browband from Sabre as well? it looks really nice?

I think you have all sold me on the Sabre, for the quality and helpfulness of the company itself, i need to get measuring up to see what size she will need.

yes the browband was sabre too :) They literally spent ages on the phone with me sorting out measurements. I went for the standard version as being a Sec D my girl is of chunkier proportions, Id def have had the elegance for a finer beast though :D
 
Joyous 70 - if you email us: retail@sabreleather.co.uk I can send you studio shots of the Elegance bridle in the English & Flash versions (we only have images on the horse of the drop & mexican versions). As a newbie, I can't post images on here.

The Elegance is finer overall than the standard Cordoba; narrower crown, throat, cheeks, brow & cavesson widths.

Any help you need, please don't hesitate to contact us.
