sabre event boots

Thinking of buying some sabre front event boots but l have never seen any in the flesh,anyone know if they are pretty substantial,i.e. capable of sustaining a kick from a hind leg on xc?? This recently happened to my horse now a bit paranoid about it!

I have a pair not quite the present style which I have had for 6 years. They would offer plenty of protection, fit well and wear well. I would recommend.

One of our geldings has a set and they are fantastic. Unfortunately they only come in full size and my other horses don't fit them!

Ive got them for my horse as she brushes. They are great boots. At the moment they seem to be doing as well as my clarendon ones which lasted 2 years (best so far!!). If you dont have a horse that brushes I think they would last for years if you look after them!!
