Curious - Can anyone tell me what is the smallest size horse they thing these would fit? Or if possible the smallest amount of bone/length?!
Sorry to be cheeky, just would like to get a set BUT I think they may be too big

(incase anyone isn't quite certain what I'm on about... http://www.sabreleather.co.uk/Pages/44LEGEB.htm )

Thanks,
Sol.

I've got them on my 16.2hh TB but she's got very fine legs, I ordered size Large Premier Equine Aircooled XC boots for her but they were too big so she's in a medium for those.

Friend of mine has them on her 16hh NZ TB and he's normally in a cob size for boots as he's quite a delicate soul. But because there are a decent number of holes on the straps they also fit horses with normal to large legs.

PS they're fantastic boots, I won't use anything else, nor will friends who team chase

I Have the F/S pair of sabre closed front tendons and rear eventing boots ive had them on a 15'2 chunky anglo arab and 16''2 thoroughbred the front boots i found were fine on both but the hind boots were a touch long on the arab but they do offer fabulous coverage and protection and i always use them for x-country

Thanks, maybe will have to see if I can try some at some point. He's 15.2 (at the moment) and not what I'd classify as overly light of bone but he's hardly huge

They do sound like good boots!

I bought a full set of four, second hand but in great nic, on eBay. I'm thrilled with mine.

I consider I got myself a real bargain. The boots arrived and were better than the photo suggests.

If you're not in a hurry for the them, set up a search on eBay or place a Want It Now ad on there. That's what I did to find mine

we had a set for Donkey (15:3 on her tippy hooves

) but althought they look lovely, we never really felt that they offered much support. Also, for a small horse, they are quite heavy. tbh, wouldn't get them again.
