ive not had much experience of this leatherwork, is it good value for money and does it last etc? any feed back appreciated! been struggling to find the type of bridle i want but have found one from sabre for about £90 so as i dont know much about them just wanted to check they are good first as ordering online.

I have 2 sabre bridles, love them! Ive had the double bridle for about 5/6 years now, use it all the time for hacking etc, still polishes up beautifully for showing. Would reccommend it to anyone.

Just treated myself to a sabre flash bridle and martingale. I was going to get another brand, but sabre is so smart looking, especially on my horses relatively fine head! Other brands are a bit too chunky.

You cannot beat sabre, i buy direct from them they offer a very good service. I have 2 eton double bridles and one eton snaffle. They last for years and I think get better with age.

Yes, it's lovely stuff. I have some that are about 15 years old (possibly more actually) and they look as if I bought them a year ago or less. lovely and soft, never had any break, my absolute favourite. can't fault them.

I have one that is 6 years old, I haven't taken care of it yet it still comes up nice (usually when someone borrows it and cleans it for me).

As long as it's genuine (ie from Sabre) then yes.
My mum like my Sabre Stirrup leathers so much she's pinched them off me and still mutters about how good they are.....
I've also had reins, bridles and a gorgeous gold emblem head collar (which I bought second hand and it's still like new)

I am going to be the exception which proves the rule. I hate Sabre. Mine went really tatty looking after 2 years, despite being looked after. Sorry.

I do think Sabre is great quality given the price. The little ginger one's bridle is still great looking even after 7 or so years of constant use. I do prefer the really soft buttery leather these days, unfortunately it's much more expensive.
