My mare was hit by a car June and has been bucking in canter since the accident. She's currently at the Royal Veterinary College undergoing treatment.
The scintigraphy showed two very small hotspots...behind the saddle area and sacroiliac. She was also scoped for ulcers while she was there and is clear!. They xrayed the area behind the saddle yesterday and it showed nothing so today they are nerve blocking the sacroiliac joint to see whether or not she will still buck.
From what I have been reading so far, there are not many sucess stories and the prognosis is not good for this type of injury.....
