Ludoctro, thanks for the update, great news. Hope he continues to improve.
Fwiw 1 of my geldings was playing with his brother years ago and got his leg caught over the other horse's back, he wouldn't weight-bear until the next day (we assumed the worst but took him for x-rays), he'd paralysed the nerve bundle under his shoulder blade apparently, was absolutely fine a day or two later.
Huge condolences to the poor girl who lost her horse.
