When you have to lock the gate of you yard when your go out, through worry of a neighbouring yard might come in to gather info.
Without going into detail we have a sick horse here (under vets care).
Some of the liveries there are quizzing other liveries here about this horse , asking how it is owner doing wrong by it, quizzing sharer's including or in front of their kids. This is wrong all of the yard including me have been asked kindly (and its our policy anyway) to keep any info about their horse or its progress or set back to within our 4 walls.
We don't worry about what goes in other yards so why are they interfering??
Lots of the liveries have been approached and now the manager is making excuses to come in and noses around and looks at the injured horse why he mentioned something, missing cat etc!!.
This is a sad day when I have to lock the gates and so do liveries as obviously they are noting down when vets are coming etc.
The sickest I found is when a pony was PTS a few months back when the truck came the driver was told it was for two horses. Livery said no and its next week you got the week wrong and the amount of horses wrong. Obviously One of the troublemakers next door was going to get the owner here of the horse to PTS by a forced means I cannot say here.
Leaves a very bad taste in the mouth I can tell you .
