I got to the yard this morning quite early before everyone else. I was going round feeding the horses on my section of the yard. I came to the horse next to me to feed him to find him dead in his stable.

There was nobody else around so i had to call the owner and tell her that her horse was dead, worst phone call i have ever had to make.

R.I.P beautifull boy

Very sad and what a beautiful boy he was. I know how all concerned will be feeling. I found my 6 year old show horse dead in the stable one morning. She was perfectly fine when i put her to bed the night before. It took me a very long time to get over it. I still went in with her and said good bye

Oh what a horrible thing for you to discover, particularly if he wasn't ill. It just reminds me that things can go wrong at any time, for no apparent reason.

Extra hugs for all of the ponies tonight.

Well done on making the call - brave thing to have to do.

Terrible for him to go so soon but glad he wasn't ill or suffering long.

Chin up.

What an awful shock!!! (((hugs))) to you and the owner!!

Well done for calling and telling the owner, it is a phone call no one would want to make!

Poor boy R.I.P x

Well I hope its not anything that would have caused him any pain at all.Its horrible when you get them results beacuse as an owner you blame your self.
Well done for calling them, I dont think I wouldnt have been able to compose myself to do it
