Sad news Lesley McNaught

Sad to hear of Lesley’s passing on Boxing Day. I used to compete at the same club as her and sister Helen 50 odd years ago.

I remember her well too. Didn’t know her personally but remember her competing. Sad news.

Yes, very sad, she was such a great rider.

She was training to Swiss Eventing Team here in Switzerland.

Always admired her riding.

I remember watching her when showjumping was big on the BBC. She was a very talented rider, always looked very balanced and quiet . it was team GB's loss when she rode for Switzerland as she must have been one of the top lady riders in the world at a time when there werent as many as there are now

She was amazing to watch. She was 2 yrs older than me and even as a young child you could tell she was destined for big things

Very sad news
