Today was my Grandpa's funeral, only the second one i've ever been to. lots and lots of people came as he was a lager than life charecter and had many friends, He didnt want flowers other than from close family and asked for a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital instead. We raised just over £300. All his golfing buddies came in there golf clothes instead of in black, we put a bar of Chocolate and a bottle of Whiskey in with him. RIP gramps.

RIP Grandpa xxx

Losses like this are so hard, but you will remember the good times in the future - Hopefully with a little laugh or a smile
Take care and sorry for your loss xxx

Sorry to hear this. Remember him fondly. My family handed a poem around at my Granda's funeral that he had asked for. I can't remember what it was exactly, but it was along the lines of 'grieve for me a little, but not a lot, and remember me with a smile'. The same applies to your Granda. I'm sure he's very proud of you all

(((hugs)))
