saddelry4u2 on EBAY?

i have bought stuff from them, the stuff was ok but they werent very helpful when i wanted to return something that was too small (even though they assured me it would be big enough before i purchased it), when i complained they blocked me from buying from then

I am also blocked from buying from them because they said that if I did not pay £2 insurance then they would not provide me with proof of postage if it didn't arrive. eBay upheld my complaint against her "non-payer" strike. Check her negative feedback on Saddlery4u and saddlery4u2 (same location, therefore I believe same person).

I tried to buy a sliphead from them this week, they were out of stock of the colour/size I wanted. Got a one liner saying so and my payment refunded. So not bad as such, just felt the comms was a bit rude! Also thought they were daft as they had the right sliphead in German leather for the same price they could have offered me, but didn't. Did make me decide not to bother with them in future.

I must say however the previous sliphead that got delivered and eaten by the dog

was lovely quality and despatched quickly.

I would stay away TBH.
I won a bridle from an ebay auction from them, I could order any size so before ordering I asked for measurements for the Cob size bridle or were they the same as a Sabre Cob size. Instead of getting the measurements I was assured they were a 'standard' cob size and definitely comparable to a Sabre.
Ordered the Cob size and it was absolutely teeny!

When I asked about exchange I was told they didn't have to exchange auction items however they would but only if I paid the £20 difference between what I paid (£60) to what the bridle was on at for buy it now (£80) I would also have to pay postage costs.
They wouldn't refund as they said it was my fault I bought the wrong size (even though they had told be the wrong thing!!)

Buyer beware!
Have had a very nice swarowfski crystal browband from them in the past that I did get cheap on one of the auctions, for abour £18.00 in total.
But they have had a lot of bad press, plus I know the owners from when they used to run a livery yard nearby to where I live and if you have had any dealings with them you certainly would want to buy from them ( I didn't know who they were when I purchased) you can Pm me for further info if you wish.

I've been lucky then as I've bought two things from them in the last three months and have been really pleased with both the items and their service.

However it does sound had they not have sent the right thing out then there could have been a real problem so I'm relieved that we didn't have to go down that route.

The more things I hear about Ebay the more I think I should just save up and buy stuff at Your Horse Live and the like instead!
