Sorry to post again! Just been told by the saddle fitter that I need a new saddle, however he has nothing second hand to fit!

She is a tb out of racing 8 weeks with a high wither. She will put on a touch more top line but will Never have a lovely straight back. Apparently she also has a broad spine!

Any advice on good makes that are cutaway From the wither? I would be looking a gp as my jump saddle is too forward cut and is interferring with her movement!

Thanks :)

My TB has a cracking set of withers- his passport says he's 15.2hh but I got suspicious when I rode out with a lady on her 15.2hh and we were definitely higher :p We've measured him to be 16.1 hh, but a good 2" of that is withers!

He has a Kent and Masters cob (yes, !!!!, I know!) saddle. I only got him in May and started having some back issues, so got the saddler out, thinking she'd say it was horrific. She just reflocked it and now it fits nicely :)

Another one with a Kent & Masters on my TB. Same as you bony high withered thing to start with and then started to work and build top line and now looks more warmblood! Having the adjustable gullet is a god send.
Like my GP so much ( and so does my stroppy mare) that we now have the Dressage version as well :-)
