Saddle Bag / Panniers

I've just bought a saddle bag ready for longer summer rides so I can carry a drink and snacks.

Can anyone help with how they attach to the saddle as I can't seem to find any instructions anyway.

It may be really simple but I'm struggling to figure it out

They probably have a strap that loops around a girth strap. Do you have a picture of them?

They have 4 clip holders on the top and 1 on each side at the front

No, it just one that unclips

This is the stock photo but I can't work out how the straps go

I was expecting the lower strap like on the stock photo.

But the skinny strap should also be long enough to reach your girth strap, loop it round and clip it in.

Is is a shires one. The straps go to the girth/girth straps. When using it take care when getting off not to get hung up on it like my friend did

Yes it is.
So when they go to the girth strap, do they just loop round one and back to the clip?

Actually looking at yours it looks smaller than the pictured one. It might be the pommel one you've got in which case it goes on the saddle Ds at the front
