Saddle buying WWYD?

It's people like you that have stopped me selling on ebay
Why? Because I expect an item to be complete & if not it should be put on the listing.
I sell on eBay a lot, I've never had any issues, not a single one. But then I am thorough & completely honest in my listings. I make sure that what the buyer gets is 100% what they were expecting. I don't understand what is so so terrible in expecting the same back.

It is there in black & white in the eBay seller guidelines that for used items that defects, MISSING PARTS, scratches & wear or tear should be listed in the condition description.

If you don't want to do that then eBay isn't the place for you to sell.

I don't understand why what I paid for it or the fact it's a synthetic saddle is relevant. I bought something wish was supposed to be in excellent condition, I don't think it is.

I think it should have the blocks, if it didn't she should have said, but she may not have considered it.

If the saddle was a good price I would suck it up. If you paid full price or over for what it is I would appeal to her better nature. She may still find them.

Just because it's removable doesn't mean it shouldn't be there as it's part of the saddle.

I've got a turnout with detachable leg straps and detachable surcingles. Would it be ok to sell it without those things and not mention it? I think not.
Thank you.
Your last point is what I was trying to make earlier. Just because something is detachable doesn't mean it is irrelevant!

If I was selling the saddle I would have said the blocks were missing. As they are supplied with a new saddle I think it would be reasonable to expect them to be included, or if not to be clearly stated.

I bought a rug recently which was described in excellent condition, however on receipt it became clear that the surcingles had been significantly shortened, luckily they did just reach around my horses middle. Again I think this should have been mentioned in the description. I didn't give negative feedback though, not really worth it. Lesson learnt about buying second hand on Ebay!

I would probably just buy the blocks and put it down to experience. Setting up disputes etc. sounds like too much hassle.
