I would like to buy a friend an extra large saddle cloth for her HUGE horse. Does anyone have any idea about where I could get one? I have tried on some 'heavy horse' websites but haven't found one yet. At the moment he has a regular sized one and it only just comes to the bottom of the saddle.

HELP!

Does the regular sized one cover the surface of the saddle touching his back? if so, she could get him a dressage one, that would come down a bit lower, hopefully going past the saddle!

That kind of numnah length wise, although it looks like it would be a bit short back wise for the saddle

Does he have any special pads? If not, you could just make one using an old blanket/material which absorbs sweat etc... or something, and stitch some straps onto it so it stays in place?

Certainly cheaper, good luck!

The Dressage ones come up a little short lengthwise and they'd be sooo dirty (unless I dyed it!) that I didn't think of getting her one; but making one - now there's a thought!!! I could do it in a really funky colour too, thanks!!

I think the Griffin Nuumed "everyday" numnahs come in XL? I have the large ones for both my 17.5" saddles and they fit well (and fit my old 18" well too) so I imagine the XL ones would be huge!

Morpheus do made to measure ones. If you tell them what depth, length etc you want they will do it make it as big as you want.

how bigs the saddle?

because pickle is 17.1hh and has a 18.5" saddle that fits quite a few brands

i found nag rags fitted well and you can get them in there colours, I only have one xtra full saddlecloth and I got that from a stall at hickstead if you go to any big shows looks there trust me HUGE bargains for HUGE horses!
