Saddle colour preference

Well I think Lance would look silly in anything but black, being black himself, beau suits lack too being bright bay with black points, but I do actually prefer brown and tan saddles!

I have my dark bay in black and my chestnut in brown!! The brown saddle didn't look right on B but the black one looks great. Four years down the line and it hasn't faded or cracked though I am addicted to the smell of my saddle soap so it gets cleaned every 5 mins!

I personally prefer black tack. I have always had black and im not really a fan of brown.
What are you planning on doing? Brown is seen as more correct for showing but dressage peeps tend to prefer black. Brown dressage saddles dont sell very well according to my saddler, and very few are made because of it.

I must be a peasant then as i only ever have black tack do not like brown full stop.
