Anyone any experience of these, to be used on a young, very big moving, bouncy WB? There are no price guide that I could see on their website, any idea?
They seem to be able to be readjusted which I like the sound of and also come in suede/nubuck which I like.
Does the serge clean up well or get sticky with hair?
I want an adjustable saddle but can't stetch to a wow and I don't like the wintec etc as I find the panels very hard.

Saddle company saddles are lovely and very kind to young horses backs - providing they are correctly fitted.

Ideal for younsters that are changing shape all the time.
Serge is very forgiving and easy enough to keep clean,

I have recently bought a made to measure dressage saddle from them and am very pleased with it so far. I think mine was the cheapest style which was £690. Its half leather half synthetic. I think the full leather was over £800 but not sure what the exact price is. My mare is a 8yr old ISH so cant comment on if it would fit a young WB well or not. The saddles are easily adjustable apparently though! The fitters should come out as many times as needed to make sure the saddle fits properly too and its all included in the price of the saddle so no extra callout fees (I presume all their fitters do this and not just the ones I had).

I was advised that you need to get a good saddle fitter of theirs as some are hit and miss. My friend on my yard was getting one for her mare and already asked the company who their best fitters were so we ended up getting a couple from Shropshire to come to us in Warwickshire!

I have two SC dressage saddles one for a short striding Oldenburg and the other for a big striding Danish WB, both fit very nicely and I feel very secure in both him, have managed to sit quite a few nice bucks! A tip though is to buy them on Ebay, I bought both mine on there, both were in absolutely perfect condition, hardly been used and the most I paid was £250.

Ive a dressage and a gp for my ID and we both love them! I reiterate whats been said about the fitters though.....find a good one.
