How much do they go for these days pls?

Its a 16.5 ins half leather/half synthetic. Has a few nicks on the pommel and cantle but otherwise in good nick. Fits wide shouldered, no withered pony atm..

Will need to replace it soonish but need replacement first so this is not an advert

Well three of the girls at our yard have gone Saddle Company crazy!! They all have had one in the last three months!! £600 new So you can work around that for second hand.
 
You could try selling on ebay? No one wants to pay much for them second hand! Depends how old it is etc. Why not trade it on against another saddle you want?

I went to one tack shop who sold new and second hand to see if they would sell it for me and take a cut. Wouldn't

said it was worth about £150. OH had a new saddle for his from another tackshop/saddlers told her when she came to fit showed her the saddle and she said she'd have a go at selling it. She sold it for £375 gave me £350 and just kept £25 for her call charge to who she sold it to. As if you buy a saddle from her there's no call out.

Depends - is it the adult 16.5" or the pony 16.5"?

i would say about £250 for the adult - 16.5" is a popular size seconda hand as not many people order this size - the standard is 17" and 18" so there are usually lots of those about.
 
tbh..I didn't know there was a childs and an adults. I thought 16.5ins was 16.5ins..
So, the answer to thats is I don't know..lol. I suppose its a childs as it fit a 13.1hh round pony. My daughter has outgrown it. She is only 12 but is 5'8" and has to have her stirrups short so as not to knock her legs on the pony...she wants to keep the pony so I need to cahnge the saddle...suppose its cheaper than a new pony.lol
 
the seat is the same, honeypots as 16.5 IS 16.5..

its the outside panels that come in Adult and Child lengths....

I got my leather WH for £500 and when I was looking I saw some go on ebay for around £200/£250 depending on condition - they are quite popular even second hand so you should have no problems selling it.
