Anyone got one of their saddles? If you buy one from ebay how can you tell if they will be able to adjust it to fit your horse?

Daisy's saddle has been officially banned for not fitting her so its going on ebay to fund her new saddle. Feel bad that I've been causing her pain but at the same time its nice to know that she's not got anything serious and we should be able to sort it relatively easily.
 
Dont know a whole lot about them but in all honesty, just get a saddler out and start from scratch. Even the adjustables (like the wow) arent infinitly so without wripping it apart. Im guessing the saddle co's are similar.
 
Asbo bought one from ebay in the seat size she needed and the fitter altered it to fit Jay.

They are leather on top with serge panels, you can buy all leather ones too.

I like serge lined saddles but someone at the yard has a saddle co saddle and the seat and top flaps are leather and the rest is wintecy synthetic. Just check that the one you bid on is actually all leather! (They got it from a saddler not ebay)
 
I fit saddles for the Saddle Company so here are the answers to your question:
They can be adjusted up or down 3 sizes which is a huge variance and much more than any other saddle. They can be adjusted any number of times (I have seen one that has been adjusted 500 times).
The half leather/half synthetic is as standard leather on everything you can see with synthetic material on the back of the flap and on the sweat flap and serge panels.

if you use the search function about and type in saddle company saddles you will find atleast 3 recently on saddle Co saddles. i have replied on most of them can't be bothered again

(in short i got one, great for horses backs, v light, but the WH one has an odd stirrup bar position)
 
i have a full leather for both my ponies and they are fantastic saddles..

fully adjustable.

i hve to admit, i'm not keen on the half synthetic look, but if thats your budget......

i have one on my cob and another on a just backed 4yr old...both are very good comfortable fits..the 4yr old was backed in his!!
