Saddle Dilemma for youngster

I had this dilemma when starting my youngster last year. Really don't like the adjustable gullets, there's more to a saddle fitting than the width!
.

Thats why there are so many STYLES of saddle (and I'm not just talking, GP, dressage, jumping- there are combinations of all 3) within the range. I am not suggesting K&M are definately going to be suitable but they are worth a look... a lot depends on the quality of the saddle fitter too ;)

treeless has it's pitfalls too and most horses have to be 'rebacked' if they are then introduced to treed saddles.

Isn't it funny, purely my prejudice, but I wouldn't dream of getting a treeless, I hate them! but I'll get on a sheepskin pad!

I have decided to go with the bareback pad fwiw, and have had a lot of support from some people I respect sooo

I never, ever skimp on saddle fit, but I can just see me handing over money like it's going out of fashion and then having to do exactly the same next year.

By the time my saddle fitter has come out, told me my saddles don't fit, tried some more on then taken it away to adjust and come back, I will be looking at, at least £300 plus the cost of the saddle. That would be ridiculous IMO.
