Saddle fit gp to dressage question

I cant get hold of my saddler at the mo so can anyone help me with this basic question.

my mare was an absolute nightmare to get a saddle for (13.1 whp type, rump high no wither flat shoulder with big movement and quite a flat back!! so a barrel bascially! and im 5ft and 8stone)

but we finally have one that fits and more importantly doesnt budge forward for jumping big fences - an Ideal 1350 GP 17inch Wide.

My saddler said if i wanted a dressage saddle the best way to go would be get the dressage version as we know 100% that this fits well in the GP. He siad a 2nd hand one in the right size would be hard to find but he would keep his eye out for me otherwise id have to get new (i am NOT buying a new one!!)

I have seen a Roella 1350 dressage saddle in 17inch but its MW....
can this be made W or will it simply be too narrow??

Yes it can be adjusted from MW to W!
The Ideal Jessica are very good on difficult to fit horses too.

oh lovely thank you! i thought it could but i just wanted to check!!
there are loads of Jessica's around - the roella's seem rare. going to ask my saddler why he didnt think a jessica would fit as that would be much easier. This roella is hours away and i dont really fancy the trek!!

Vic - clive can tweak the tree out a width as we looked at that possibility when i got my saddle but i didnt need it in the end.
