Saddle fitter in shropshire

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a saddle fitter in the shropshire area? I have already been recommended Andy Wheals however think his saddles are a bit out of our price range. Ideally looking for someone who sells second hand saddles, just looking for a GP for my 14.2hh section D.

I would get Andy out (or someone else... I also like Anne Dawson), measure and ask him to suggest saddles that will suit your horse. Buy on Ebay, or somewhere else you can get second hand, then get him back out to check it and re-fit if needed.

It's worth getting up to Carol Cattle in Bishops Castle. She doesn't fit saddles but she does have 100s of second hand ones for sale, her place is a real Aladdin's cave! I bought my saddle from there then got Anne Dawson out to fit it :)
 
Andy wheales www.thesaddleman.co.uk , he comes up to newcastle fortnightly (used to work 'for' us at our shop up here) hes from shropshire and has a large fan base in this area-very hard to book an appointment and impossible without notice as he is so full up and busy. Didnt have one complaint when he worked for us. Sadly it was not cost effective for us but we only recommend him and use him ourselves :)
