Saddle Fitter N/Notts / S/Yorks

can anyone please recommend me a saddle fitter in the north notts / south yorks area. I am based in Worksop.

I have a couple of saddles that need checking and I am wanting to buy a second hand GP.

(I know about BP - bought my lovely dressage saddle off them, however they currently dont have the second hand GP I was hoping for)

Throstle Nest Saddlery at Barnsley are good though they dont come out to fit second hand saddles. If you can get to them they do stock a lot of second hand and they are of very good quality. Good service and lovely Saddlery, just take plenty of money, lots of nice things to spend it on!

Izzwizz - thanks very much but one of my mares doesnt travel (and I think she has put on too much weight so would like hers checked) and I have 2 saddles (from friends that are selling) that I want checked to see if either will fit my horse but I know what you mean about Throstle Nest - I love their sales!

Worth a trip to Retford? they will let you take their "sale" saddles to try (you buy them first!) and will refund any that don't fit when you return them. You can then get a saddler out to look at them whilst you have them, and decide from there?
