Can anyone recommend a good, honest, reliable saddle fitter in the South Wales area who has a good selection of second hand saddles for someone like me on a budget? Hopefully I'm not asking too much

OMG - that near?????????? Yes, Pentyrch. Are you at Gwilyms??

The only saddler I would recommend would be Graham Butt (but you have to go there). I have a brilliant saddler who comes to me from Badmington way (he could probably be persuaded to go a little futher to you too if you want his number?)

Graham at Llwynon , we travel up to him but he may do mobile fitting though?

I was looking at that site after a google search. How far is it- that said I'm closer to Brecon than you so it can't be too far I guess?

Travelling there is not a problem as long as I have someone sit with me as I failed my towing test

Strangely my first ever hack on Sol was down to his saddlery

Is Graham Butt the same guy that Ishy just recommended?

Takes us 90 minutes (given I go down there to work and stay with friends with the horse that are a farm over rather than to the saddler and we take a lorry not a trailer

Graham Butt it is then

Have vet coming tomorrow for a follow up on Ronan while he's on the bute trial (he's not gone down since being on bute which suggests it might be a pain reaction I guess) Want to discuss with her various options such as physio (as suggested by Amymay

), chiro and also getting a saddle fitted by a professional so thought I'd try to get ahead of the game a bit

Thanks guys!

Another vote for Graham Butt, it's about 90mins but well worth the trip and he does any work there and then so you're not waiting to get your saddle back for ages! You've reminded me actually, it's time for a check up.
