saddle fitter ??

hey, need to have my saddle fitted by recomendation of vet,so i was wondering if anyone could suggest a saddle fitter in east anglia, bedfordshire way ? i would prefur someone who just fitted saddles rather than sold them ? but any recommendations welcome

most (if not all) saddle fitters will sell saddles. do you want them to just check the fit of your saddle? i presume the vet thinks it doesn't fit? whatever your needs, you need to make sure you get a fitter that comes recommended - ask everyone locally. just because someone is on the master saddler's list, it doesn't necessarily mean they're good (although they usually are, as they're well trained!) and sometimes some saddle fitters don't sign up to the SMS so there are also plenty out there who are very good but not on the list. Your best bet is to ask friends and people on here for recommendations...

also, be very clear to the fitter about your needs on the phone before they come out. a good fitter will be happy to discuss your needs to make sure they don't waste your/their time.

sadly, i don't covers beds... i cover cambs, lincs and norfolk and very rarely venture past about Huntingdon... but i'm sure there'll be plenty of peeps on here who can recommend.
